Child health care in Puppalguda

Tiny Totz Kids Clinic provides child health consultations for infants, children and adolescents. Dr. Shilpa Reddy T sees children for routine checkups and for illness that needs a paediatric review.

Routine checkups

A well-child visit records growth, asks about development for the child’s age, and keeps vaccination planning from slipping. It is also the visit where a parent can raise a question that never felt urgent enough during a fever.

When a child is unwell

Fever, cough, ear pain, vomiting and loose stools are assessed in clinic when the child is stable enough to attend. The visit explains what to watch at home. It does not promise that the illness will end that night.

Fast breathing, a child who is hard to wake, a seizure, or a purple rash needs emergency care. Do not hold those for the evening clinic.

FAQ

Child health questions

When should my child see a paediatrician?

Book a visit for persistent fever, breathing difficulty, poor feeding, poor weight gain, repeated illness, or a developmental concern. Also come for newborn checks, vaccinations, and routine health visits even when your child seems well. If your child is hard to wake, struggling to breathe, or having a seizure, seek emergency care first.

Can you help with frequent cough and cold?

Yes. Frequent cough and cold can be assessed at the clinic. The visit looks for infection, allergy, asthma, or another cause that needs a different plan. One visit does not promise that the cough will stop immediately.

Do you monitor developmental milestones?

Yes. Developmental questions are part of paediatric care here, including movement, speech, social interaction, and behaviour. If a concern needs a specialist assessment, that can be discussed during the visit.

How often should children have health checkups?

Newborns are usually seen more often in the early weeks. After that, well-child visits are spaced through infancy, the toddler years, and school age, and are also timed with vaccination visits. Dr. Shilpa Reddy T can suggest the next interval for your child.
